Part of the Own What You Think campaign, this poster and installation art employed positive statements written by Princeton students about their friends and acquaintances to combat poster defacement and anonymous online hate speech.

The poster collaged these statements together, while the installation projected them sequentially onto a giant screen. Both represent ways in which design can be made accessible to the public.

Featured on ABC’s 20/20 and in BusinessWeek, the campaign grew into a nationwide effort that united students under its simple graphic message. Inspired by Nichelle Narcisi’s Except You.
